Woodland Wanderers: Fall 2022 Session #1
Adventure Base Camp, Cranston RI
6 weeks on Wednesdays, Arrive 9:30 am Classes run 10 am - 2 pm

Ages: 4-8.

Description:  An early elementary co-op for ages 4-8 with a focus on gentle instruction with a variety of fun classes and free play. Parents are required to stay on-site, and most will have co-teaching or directing duties. We will likely designate a parent to do a quick walk of the grounds before we leave to check for any trash or belongings left behind. Use common sense and courtesy in regards to staying home when ill and utilizing Covid tests at home when necessary.

Supplies: Children will each need a supply kit to include - pen, pencil, coloring materials (crayons, markers, colored pencils or a mix), a glue stick, a bottle of school glue, scissors, and a travel pack of tissues.

This parent-led cooperative will offer friendship and fun!   The day will be broken up into 3-time slots:  You will choose your classes in the next registration step.


Class 1: Choose one:
Spanish or Math Games or What on Earth? (see descriptions in photos below)

Class 2: Choose one:
Budding Engineers or Animal Kingdom or Story Alchemy (see descriptions in photos below)

Class 3 & 4:Options will be art, gym and Lego/game club. Students will be placed into two classes based on interest and availability. There is no guarantee which classes you’ll be placed in.
This is an outdoor co-op, please dress to be outside!

Safety Policies:
- All adult participants must have a BCI on file with ENRICHri
-This is a mask-optional co-op.  The leadership is COVID-cautious and will discuss safety measures with participants.

Registration:  Opens Wednesday, Aug 24th at 8 pm - this will fill VERY Quickly, be prepared.

Wildschooding

Wildschooling is an approach to learning that encourages organic, hands-on, nature-based learning. It's influenced by Waldorf education, the Montessori movement, and unschooling. There is a lot of interest-led learning, integrate play, climbing, building, and exploring, with lots of opportunities for movement.
Wildschool is loosely structured and will include several different nature-based crafts, classes, and activities like hikes and plant and animal identification. This program is propelled by the varied and unique interests of parent volunteers. Past classes include first aid, campfire cooking, leaf printing, candle making, and tons of other crafts!

Safety Policies:
- All adult participants must have a BCI on file with ENRICHri before the first day.



Registration Opens on Monday, Aug 29th at 8 pm - It fills quickly - be prepared!

Let’s have some fun while hanging out with friends !

Join us for a 6 week session of classes. Each week there will be an engaging fun activity that they get to bring home!

Some supplies each week will be the responsibility of the teen to bring in. We can’t wait to hang out with you all and meet some new friends!

Ages 11+
10:00-12:00 weekly activity
12:00 teens will go back to family’s respective co-op, or teens who do not have a sibling attending an ABC campus co-op can go to Wildschool for the afternoon.

6 weeks sessions to include:

Paint and sip - each teen will be creating a canvas painting of starry night (pre rough sketched ) to help! 

Tie dye (teen to supply one prewashed item to dye) 

Mandala rock painting (teen can bring their choice of flat smooth rock) we will be using Qtips, erasers and other objects to get the Mandela effect.

Candle making Each teen will be making beautiful fragrant candles to bring home.

Henna We will be practicing henna on one another and just having fun.  We may watch a short video about henna and it’s background

The Masked Adventures  Co-Op
Adventure Base Camp, Cranston RI

For ages 3-15

This is a *MASKED* co-op.

This will be a multi-age fully masked co-op. Parents/caregivers will loosely plan structured activities each week with the goal of building social connections. Weekly activities may include fire building, geocaching, science, art, team building/cooperative challenges, and more. Meets Wednesdays 9:30 am-12 pm. This will be a parent/caregiver-led co-op – all adults will be needed to lead a class and/or help with clean-up and setup. Pairing up with another adult would be a great way to ensure coverage in case of absence/other circumstances.

*This will be a fully masked, outdoor coop for families that still need to be cautious of COVID.

This is a true cooperative, where all parents participate.  

**All parents/adults on the property will need to have a BCI on file with ENRICHri.**



IMPORTANT NOTES:

Parents will be present and responsible for their own children at lunch time.

This is a peanut/tree nut-free co-op.
