Teens: Drumming Circle

*Tweens are welcome at either the Littles or Teens drumming circle depending on how the class fits within their schedule for the day and were the parent thinks the child would be most comfortable.

Come make a joyful noise! Learn African and Afro-Caribbean rhythms and songs. Create your own rhythms on authentic hand made instruments. Participants will also improve their geographic knowledge and learn about the cultural significance of drumming in cultures all over the world. Class is taught by Dana Maguire. Tables are first come, first serve. You are welcome to share a table with a fellow consultant, if you wish. If you register before emailing you could potentially forfeit your $10 registration.

Just in time for holiday shopping: Special Events Committee is pleased to present the Enrich Festi- Fall Craft and Vendor Event. Share your talents with the group! If you own a small business and think someone in the group could benefit from your services or products then grab yourself a table and show us what you’ve got.

This is the perfect opportunity to see the amazing talent we have hidden in our group! Come and shop at our Festi- Fall and pick up something for a loved one or for yourself. There’s sure to be something for everyone!

Teen Group! Led by Bryan Sirois with the help of the teens themselves! Different activities each session.

Please Note *Teens ages 13+ may attend teen group. There will be no exceptions to this age requirement.

*Parents must stay on the premises during teen group (1.5 hours) unless arrangements are made with another parent to care of your child. There is a room with a sitting area next door to the teen room if you want to stay to hang out with younger siblings.

FREE, but, please RSVP so we know who will be attending.

THIS EVENT IS FULL!

Each child will get their own double-sided snowman out of painted wooden blocks. They will create a face, belly and chest for each side. Using lots of mixed art supplies, they can create a completely different snowman on each side and then, mix them up! (Alternate activity will be provided for younger siblings.)

$6 per child

Everyone will get to paint and design their own 5.5" snowman terra cotta clay pot, complete with a lid and candy to fill it. Use our ideas or make a design of your own!

Aimed at ages 8-12.
Cost is $4 per crafter.
Register by December 7.

Holiday-themed Family Yoga

When: Tuesday, December 13, 2016 9:45 - 10:30

Where: ENRICHri Community Center, 1395 Nooseneck Hill Road Coventry, RI

Who: all ages

What: Come channel your holiday inner zen this season with a holiday-themed family yoga! Make time for yourself, the kids, and a little exercise. No experience necessary. All levels of physical ability are encouraged to participate in this all ages activity. Participants might want to bring a yoga mat, towel, or blanket for their comfort. Lead by ENRICHri member and yoga instructor Kali Knight. Come for yoga and stay for crafts, socializing, and drumming! Don't forget to check out the calendar and register for additional events through Neon.
