For ages 2.5- 5.
We will be using habitats as a foundation theme within the classroom’s daily rhythm to meet the following learning goals: sharing, taking turns, respecting others, listening, following directions, asking, fine motor skills, body control, maintaining a daily rhythm, and cleaning up. During each 6 week session we will cover 2 habitats, spending 3 weeks on each one. At this age learning happens with repetitive play. This will allow the children to go deeper with their play, learning and processing. Our daily rhythm will include circle time, activity/craft time, snack time, movement and a quieting of body and mind, play and sensory stations, clean up and a closing circle. Preschoolers should bring a no-spill water bottle (water only) and a small non-messy snac

It's been a month since the show! Let's gather to celebrate. We will screen the video of the show, have some allergy-friendly snacks available and play in the gym.
All involved in the production in any way are welcome.

Age 6-teen. Home Economics is for everyone! Learn how to sew by hand, mend clothes, bake, preserve food, plan a nutritious meal, iron, follow a recipe, set a table, etc. Each week will focus on a different topic.

In this class we will explore what the world was like just before the outbreak of WWI. We will discuss geographical boundaries, world leaders, relationships between countries, etc. With a firm understanding of all the players and their alliances, we will then delve into the events leading up to the war, and finally we’ll look at the war’s consequences. Throughout the class, we will also try to recognize how events of WWI have had a lasting effect and helped shape our world today.

Taught by Will Driscoll.
Students will be engaged to acquire basic bushcraft skills such as shelter creation, direction/map use/orienting, safe water collection, food sources, basic first aid and outdoor awareness/common sense.
Students need to be comfortable being outdoors in winter and using a knife.

This program is offered by Rhode Island authors Sue Greco and Denise Flagg. Bring your creative mind to our classes. You choose the subject. We’ll help you write a setting, plot. and resolution around your main character. As well as draw, watercolor all the illustrations to coordinate with the story. As you finish, you will be amazed at what you’ve created.

$65 per student (five week class).

Join in on this all ages gym class! Move and play with classic gym activities, gym game favorites, and some newer games you may not of heard of yet. Teamwork, communication, cooperation, and being a good sport will be skills practiced in this class.

Welcome to introduction to yearbook production! This class is for our teens to come together to produce the first ENRICHri yearbook. The yearbook will be designed to include all ENRICHri programs, coops and field trips. Students need to be able to work together as well as independently in class and at home. We need students of all types! Ones who love reading, writing, photography, editing, art and design! Please bring a lapbook or chromebook if possible.

This is a high school level Introduction to Anatomy class for ages 13+. It will cover medical terminology, health and wellness, and physiology. All subject matter will be answered directly and scientifically, with no personal or religious bias.
Areas to be covered: terminology, cells, bones, cardiovascular, respiratory, reproductive, skin, care of body and more. This is the third session of this class, but, you do not need to have taken the previous 2 sessions to enroll.f
Bring a notebook and colored pencils. Age 13+

In chorus, led by professional vocal instructor Erica Johnson, kids will learn how to breathe properly, open up their mouths when singing, build confidence, learn about melody vs. harmony, learn about the different voices in a chorus (bass, tenor, alto, soprano) and learn about the 3 main voices a vocalist has (chest, mixed, head). Kids will learn exercises to help strengthen their vocal chords and build their voice.

This is a Fundamentals of Karate class for ages 6-adult taught by an experienced Martial Arts instructor.

In this kitchen-based class, we'll learn techniques of preserving food including meats and soups. We will use hot water bath canning and learn how to safely use a pressure cooker for low acid foods. The students will take home what they have preserved to share with their families or to stock their pantries.
Participants should have the ability to work as part of a team, use knives, stoves and other kitchen equipment safely, and have good listening skills. Please bring an apron to class each week.
