The Varnum Memorial Armory Museum contains an extensive military and naval museum with a focus on Rhode Island military history. Our collections span from the Revolutionary War to modern U.S. military engagements.
This is appropriate for all ages, strollers welcome.

Adult ticket is needed.

This is NOT a drop off event. Adults must be present.

This fair is different! We strongly encourage students and parents to take spots and showcase their interests, passions, and/or hobbies.  Homeschool families value learning all the time and we all have such varied interests, experiences, and pursuits, let’s connect and learn from each other regardless of age! The fair is for ALL ages!

Event Registration Opens 9/1
River Classroom programs are a hands-on outdoor environmental educational experience developed by the Blackstone Valley Tourism Council, and now done in collaboration with Mystic Aquarium educators. The program provides students with an opportunity to learn about the natural, cultural, and historical aspects of the Blackstone River Valley. This very popular program takes place aboard the Coast Guard certified Explorer riverboat and gets students engaged with the surroundings that many have yet to discover.
