Mad Science provides hands-on, interactive science education led by animated professional instructors.

January 11, 1 p.m. Black and Blue Oceans (3rd-6th grade)
Learn about the ocean as an ecosystem. Devise and test clean-up techniques with a mock oil spill.

January 25, 1 p.m. Under Pressure (3rd-6th grade)
Examine air pressure and its uses. Have a floating ping-pong ball race!

February 8, 1 p.m. Electricity
Discover circuits and conductivity. Create and play an electric game!

Cost:
$10 per student for any one workshop (Black and Blue Oceans, Under Pressure and Electricity)
$25 per student for all three workshops

Clubhouse Rules:
Taking any Thursday class also entitles the student to free play that same day at the Pawtucket Boys & Girls Club from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Open swim, gym, common room and classrooms - with a supervising adult.
Must be a member of the Boys & Girls Club of Pawtucket.
Supervising parent or guardian must provide a background check (BCI), and siblings aged 5+ must be in a class or pay a $5 drop in fee.

January 11, 10 a.m. Dinosaurs!! (Kindergarten-2nd grade)
See how scientists learn about dinosaurs. Make a cast of a dinosaur tooth to take home!

January 25, 10 a.m. Bugs!! (Kindergarten - 6th grade)
Learn about insects and dispel some of their myths. Build a gude to take home!

February 8, 10 a.m. Magnetic Magic (Kindergarten-2nd grade)
Devise your own cool experiments to test magn

Teens will collaborate to create their own program. They will have 2 dedicated classrooms, with some parent-led programs, and the opportunity to hire professional instructors.
In the beginning classes will include Consumer Math and Current Affairs, with the rest to be determined. See the Facebook group Teen Program at Clubhouse for details.
