Mad Science Workshops
Thursday at the Pawtucket Boys & Girls Club

Mad Science provides hands-on, interactive  science education led by animated professional instructors.

January 11, 1 p.m.  Black and Blue Oceans (3rd-6th grade)
Learn about the ocean as an ecosystem.  Devise and test clean-up techniques with a mock oil spill.

January 25, 1 p.m.  Under Pressure (3rd-6th grade)
Examine air pressure and its uses.  Have a floating ping-pong ball race!

 February 8, 1 p.m.  Electricity (3rd-6th grade)
Discover circuits and conductivity.  Create and play an electric game!

Cost:
$10 per student
$25 per student for all three workshops (Black and Blue Oceans, Under Pressure and Electricity)

Clubhouse Rules:
Taking any Thursday class also entitles the student to free play that same day at the Pawtucket Boys & Girls Club from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Open swim, gym, common room and classrooms - parents must supervise! 
Must be a member of the Boys & Girls Club of Pawtucket. 
Supervising parent or guardian must provide a background check (BCI), and siblings aged 5+ must be in a class or pay a $5 drop in fee.
