This lecture / demonstration combines handmade shadow puppetry, cinematic techniques, and innovative sound and music to create immersive visual stories for stage and screen. Using vintage overhead projectors, multiple screens, puppets, actors, live feed cameras, multi-channel sound design, and a live music ensemble, Manual Cinema transforms the experience of attending the cinema and imbues it with liveness, ingenuity, and theatricality. blends film and video production, handmade shadow puppetry, cinematic techniques and innovative sound and music to create immersive visual stories.

Appropriate for grades 6-12.

Seating is very limited.

Cost: $8.50 per person

Please submit hanging items matted or framed. Neither need to be expensive, simply using a larger piece of paper as a frame is fine.
Table items must be able to sit flat on table and not roll around.
ALL ART SHOULD BE MARKED on back or bottom with artist's full name and age. You will put uniform tags with first name and age only when you bring your items to the library.
Having full name on back helps us get artwork back to it's rightful owner at the end of the art show.

All members are allowed to bring up to 4 pieces of art.

Cost is free. And Art will be on display all through April.
