Fall Homeschool Sailing
September 7-October 1
Every Tuesday, Thursday and Friday - 12 lessons total
1 p.m. - 4 p.m..
Location: Heritage State Park Boathouse, 200 Davol Street, Fall River
*Maximum six students, space is limited!!*

Cost: $128

These lessons run by Greater Fall River Recreation covers basic sailing, which includes knot tying, rigging a boat, leaving and returning from a dock or mooring, navigating a small boat, man overboard, and racing. Sessions are mostly on the water and kids will get wet.

Audience: This drop-off program is for students 9-12ish. "Almost 9" is OK, at parent discretion. Each child pilots a pram (small dignhy) solo.
Age limit is based on boat size, the boats are small and so might not be suitable for a larger / teen-sized child.

COVID precautions - Outdoor class. Mask not required.
