Human interactions with the watershed

8:45 am: Meet at Stop & Shop parking lot behind Dunkin Donuts, off exit 3A - CAR POOL (We need to share rides from this spot as some spots have limited parking)

9:00 am : First stop – Kenyon Grist Mill in Usequapaugh, RI

Topics- Watersheds, Mill Villages, Dams

10:00 am: Second stop – Kenyon Industries, Kenyon, RI

Topics – Industrial impacts to the rivers; river restoration projects

10:30 am: Third stop – Horseshoe Dam, Shannock RI

Topics – American eels and herring

11:00 am: Fourth stop – Lower Shannock Falls, Shannock RI

Topics – Brown field restoration, Wild and Scenic Rivers

11:30 or 12 – Return to parking lot
