Come enjoy a private planetarium show where we learn to identify planets and stars from our own backyard. Then enjoy time walking the museum doing one of our fun quests! There is a handicap accessible entrance if needed. Just let me know before the date. Show starts promptly at 11 and once the doors shut, they will not be opened for late arrivals. Plan to arrive and meet 15 minutes early at the entrance to ensure everyone can make it for the show on time. Food and beverages are not allowed inside the museum.

Celebrate Arbor Day with a guided tree walk of Swan Point’s amazing property after which will be a small hands-on activity.

Nature at Swan Point
The rural cemetery movement of the 1830s coincided with the popularity of romanticized horticulture based on English landscape design which presented an idealized view of nature. These new “cemetery parks” usually included rolling lawns, a lake or pond, groves of trees, and recreations of picturesque architecture.
Today, over 3,500 trees, flowering shrubs and plants lavishly adorn the cemetery grounds and bring beauty to the landscape during every season.

There will be access to restrooms. Bottled water will also be supplied.
Dress for outdoors.
