Thursdays, 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. starting March 26
Lincoln Woods State Park

This is a weekly outdoor meetup open to all ages, running from March 19 to May 14. We will start with a short hike, then settle in the same spot every week. From this base, kids can explore, play, build, boulder or draw in journals.

Parents can connect with each other or join in the play - parents are responsible for their own kids.

Bring: a journal, pencils, water, snacks, bug spray, and weather appropriate clothing (we will only cancel for strong storms).

Home base will be communicated closer to the start date.

No need to sign up in advance -just join us! Hosted by Naomi Chipel and her daughters.

Let’s send each other Spring Mail! Could be a cute card, or a picture of a flower, butterfly, or outside activity, or a paper puzzle (maze, coloring sheet, word search, etc).
Your child will get a mailing list (no more than 12 kids) to send to, and will receive mail from those kids.

Please sign up by March 26, and plan to mail your letter by April 4.

Click here to sign up. In the notes box, you can let us know if you'd like siblings to mail items together or as a group, and also if you'd like to be on 2 different mail exchanges.

We're hosting this exchange because it seems mail is safe. Shared from United States Postal Service, " According to The World Health Organization, “the likelihood of an infected person contaminating commercial goods is low and the risk of catching the virus that causes COVID-19 from a package that has been moved, travelled, and exposed to different conditions and temperature is also low.” And according to the CDC, “in general, because of poor survivability of these coronaviruses on surfaces, there is likely very low risk of spread from products or packaging that are shipped over a period of days or weeks at ambient temperatures. Coronaviruses are generally thought to be spread most often by respiratory droplets. Currently there is no evidence to support transmission of COVID-19 associated with imported goods and there have not been any cases of COVID-19 in the United States associated with imported goods.” ,
