ALL NEW THIS YEAR - Our Kids Vendor Fair is on a Saturday and open to the public!!!
Free to attend to shop - no signup required. If you'd like to be a kid vendor, please register: Registration opens on Oct 6th at 8 pm and closes on Nov 7th at midnight or when full (we have filled fast in past years.) ENRICHri's Kid Entrepreneur Holiday Market Date: Saturday, November 22nd, 10:30 am - 3:00 pm (shopping from 11 am - 3 pm) Ages: all, but kid vendors only Price: $5 per spot (1/2 a table), one spot per kid. Location: West Warwick Elks Lodge - 60 Clyde Street, West Warwick, RI 02893 Vendor Rules: All items should be crafted, grown, created, customized, or made in some way by the kid vendor; we do not want reselling of products. Because we are opening the sale to the public, we want to strongly encourage quality products that the public will want to purchase - we want our kid entrepreneurs to be successful. Tables and chairs are provided, and you will be sharing a 6 or 8-foot table with another vendor. So plan for your display to be for 3- 4 feet of table space. If you are a family with multiple kids, consider registering for two kids and plan to all share one table. If you will need a space with access to an electrical outlet, arrive extra early and bring an extension cord; these spots are limited. Because we are open to the public, we are not setting a maximum price point. We encourage you to do a little research and find a good price for your quality products that covers your expenses, time spent making, and is reasonable for customers, so you make sales. There is great learning in this experience. Food items can be sold, but must be: packaged individually clearly labeled with all ingredients Anything with nuts must be in sealed packaging No raffles or lottery-type offers allowed. Important Tips for Kid Vendors Make things you enjoy making and would love to get as a gift, or you would buy as a gift for parents, grandparents, or siblings. Bring lots of cash to make change and a way to keep it organized. (and separate cash for your own purchases). Think about the "window dressing" of your table and products—Tablecloth, signage, clear pricing, and making your products look good. Each vendor is allowed and highly encouraged to make one Facebook post about their products on our member page during the two weeks before the event. This is great marketing, not only for your products but also to get more members to come and shop. Consider offering items with different price points. Be prepared to smile, look people in the eye, say hello to people walking by your table, and explain what you have to offer. Politely ask a parent or a sibling to "work" your table when you want to go shopping so you do not miss any sales and can still support our friend's businesses. Talk to your parent about setting you up to accept Venmo or PayPal friends for payment, and have a sign with a QR Code to make that payment method easy. Help us promote this event so we get lots of shoppers! Parents, please share the flyer on your social media, print a copy and post it at your local library, at your church, ask your kids' other teachers (gymnastics, music, dance, karate, scouts, etc) to share with other families, and encourage your friends, co-workers, and neighbors to come and shop. Have FUN!!!! **This is NOT a drop-off event. Adults must be present and responsible for their kids - this is an event that is open to the public. Remember, being a vendor is for kids** |
