Riverbed Geology Exploration When: Friday, May 20th, 10:30 - 1:00 (bring lunch) Where: Mowry Conservation Area Old Forge Rd Smithfield, RI (See details about this beautiful location below) Mowry Conservation Directions: Look for the entrance sign and park along Old Forge Road between Farnum Pike(Route 104) and Log Road just north of Stump Pond. What: Jen Davis of Bryant University's Geology Department will lead us in a day of exploration of the riverbed. We will explore, learn, measure, experiment and have a lunch break (bring your lunch!!). |
