2024 INTERNATIONAL FAIR
MARK YOUR CALENDARS - Registration Opens Monday at 8pm and there will be only one of each country allowed.
PLEASE READ ALL THE INFORMATION BEFORE REGISTRATION TIME!
International Fair 2024
Date: Friday 4/19/24 * Note new date from original announcment.
Location: Elks Club 60 Clyde St. West Warwick RI 02893
Pricing: FREE *This year the board voted to make all community events free.
Time: 11:30 am - 3:00 pm
11:30 am Set up presentations, check in, and get your passport
Noon - Open with a Parade of Nations (bring a flag for your country to wave (can be hand drawn) after the parade, students, families, and spectators can take their passports and an empty plate and visit each country to learn about it, get a stamp or sticker for their passport, and try a bite of food from each country.
2:30 Clean up and pack up until next year.

All ages are welcome to participate and families can work together. Please register for each country, not each person.

***After registering, go to the ENRICHri Member Facebook group and search the tag #internationalfair2024 to find the post to claim the country you will showcase.
FIRST - look through ALL the comments see which countries have already been claimed then comment your child’s first name and the country they select. There will be no duplicates allowed, if someone has already claimed a country please pick a different one. If you aren't on Facebook, please email Amanda.Campbell@enrichri.org to check which countries are taken and claim your child’s choice.
Siblings may register separately or choose to work together and participate by representing a single country (just register one child)
Non-participants are welcome to come see all the presentations! (This is a great way to prepare your student to participate next year.)
Participation Expectations:
You will need to display a tri-fold board to share information about your country.
A flag of your country to be displayed and used in the parade of nations (can be a regular piece of paper).
A nut-free cultural food dish to share with others. Please also bring any special serving utensils/cups/napkins and an index card/small sign with a list of ingredients to display with your dish.
Stickers (½ a mailing label works great) or a stamp of your country’s flag, symbol, or name so that visitors to your country’s presentation can “stamp” their passports.
Bring your own water bottles/drinks.
Provided for you:
A portion of a table to present your project
A power outlet if needed (please let us know as they are limited)
A blank passport
Basic Paper products - plates, bowls, forks spoons, and napkins.
