Come experience the joy of hula hooping in this fun filled gym class. Learn to spin it like a superstar, show off your rock star tricks and play some out of this world hoop games! During this class everyone will have the chance to learn a variety of hoop dance tricks all while getting a great fitness workout. Enjoyed by both girls and boys. Think circus tricks and lots of smiles. Anyone can learn to hula hoop! Home-made hula hoops will be available for use in class. These hoops are larger and easier to learn hula hooping with than normal toy hoops you may find in department stores.

We will make simple rod puppets using wooden spoons as a base. Kids will design characters and then get a chance to play around with them on "stage."
This class is for ages 5 and up. It's as much fun for older kids as little ones. Taught by Laura Gans-Pomerantz, who has a degree in puppetry theater. Cost: $5 |

Make a bracelet and ring that is inspired by all the colors of fall. We will use bracelet and ring memory wire, larger seed beads, and a gold flower charm.

Learn to concoct delightful simple syrups, fluffy whipped cream, and indulgent chocolate truffles in this fascinating and fun 90 minute class in the kitchen.
Recommended for teens and careful kids over 6, adult may accompany. Bring an apron, mitt, and a few glass bottles or small jars to take portions of favorite potions home. Taught by Ruth Galindo Cost: $7 per person |
