Homeschool 102: Your Family Homeschool Vision (and Pot Luck Lunch!)

Saturday, October 16, 2021  10:30am - 2pm (please arrive about 10:15 so we can start on time)

Warwick Center for the Arts

Per Adult: $25 (and a pot luck contribution - yum!)

Have you been homeschooling for a while? Have your plans not turned out the way you hoped, do they motivate you or fall flat? Are you struggling to find the right curriculum for your family? Do you have homeschool burnout? Is your homeschool running smoothly but lacks focus?
With some homeschool experience under your belt, it’s now time to take the next step.

Parents attending the workshop will create a family vision statement that will enable them to make educational and lifestyle choices. The vision statement will help in choosing curriculum, activities, time and money management.

This adults-only workshop will be led by Melissa Robb, ENRICHri's Member Advocate. Melissa homeschooled for 11+ years (Ian is in college now!) and frequently leads our Homeschool 101 sessions.

There will not be a pot luck sign up... just bring whatever you'd like, if we end up with a table full of salad and chocolate cake, that's ok!

Learn the basics of Ukulele from a professional teacher!

Steve Johnson Jr. is a music educator, performer and composer. He holds a B.S and M.M. in music education, as well as Orff Level I certification. He gigs regularly throughout Rhode Island in several different groups and is a respected on-call bassist. Lately, he has performed with The Jesse Liam Band and the Side Effects.

Steve is also a former ENRICHri member and has taught our Friday Night Lights group - he knows how homeschoolers learn. He is offering these lessons at a bargain price of $5 per week to give back to the community.

Bring your own Ukulele. You can find one at music stores or on Amazon.com.
