09/16/2025 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM ET	Coastal Exploration	Field Trips $26.00 Fort Getty State Park 1050 Fort Getty Rd Jamestown, RI Tuesday, Sept 16. 10:30 - 12:30 Fort Getty State Park, Jamestown, RI Coastal Exploration Graduate Student from URI's Graduate School of Oceanography will focus on coastal ecology. This field trip provides actual hands-on experience with the unique marine organisms of Rhode Island’s coastal environments. The trip is geared toward an introduction to the general ecology of coastal environments along with a focus on some of the key players among the animals and algae found there. Visit Fort Getty (Jamestown) where you will explore the rocky shoreline and salt marsh environments. You are welcome to stay after! Bring your lunch! Family pricing - appropriate for all ages
