This is a group keyboard lesson, bring your own keyboard.
Cost is $130. Includes six 1-hour lessons plus Piano Adventures by Nancy & Randall Faber. All ages & all ability levels welcome, including brand new players. Keyboard can be 44 or 88 key. Piano is a great learning platform and introduction to the musical arts for children. Unlike guitar, violin, flute, or most other instruments, playing piano requires much less upfront learning to be able to make a note – and as a result, it allows students to focus less on the instrument and quickly learn the concepts and theory of music. All of which can be transferred to any instrument once mastered. Over the course of 6 weeks, students will spend 1 hour per week in class with a skilled Piano instructor working through exercises inside of Piano Adventures. Through careful instruction and exercise, this will aim to give them mastery in the basics of the notes C – G, legato technique, and teach students the basics of music theory. The outcome of the course will be the ability to perform a solo or duet in a culminating recital. No prior knowledge of music is needed, as we will be starting with the very basics of music theory. Come as early as 9:30 to enjoy Clubhouse's open play and swim and gym options each week. Please contact Mark Bedrossian of Bedrossian Music at (401) 270-5379 if you would like him to purchase a keyboard for your student, cost $150 (44 key) or $190 (88 key). |
