RI Scripps Spelling Bee Group

Weekly practice meetings will culminate with a virtual Spelling Bee. The winner of the virtual Spelling Bee will represent this homeschool group at the RI state Spelling Bee. The second-place winner will be the alternate for the RI state Spelling Bee. Each child will receive a study guide and a certificate. Weekly meetings will be available for those who want to practice together. Children do not need to attend meetings to participate in the spelling bee.

Who: Scripps recommends grades 4- 8. Younger children are allowed, but no child over 16 is eligible. Up to 12 children for this group

When: Weekly meetings starting Friday, January 22^nd at 2 pm

Virtual Spelling Bee- Friday, February 12^th

RI State Spelling Bee- March 13^th

 Price: $12 per child/ family
