Parent Night Out: Sumingashi
Monday, March 30, 6 p.m. - 8 p.m.
Warwick Public Library on Sandy Lane

Come learn the ancient Japanese art of paper marbling, Sumingashi, in this hands-on Parents Night Out led by Jennifer Ritter. This is a great chance to spend some time with, and make connections with, other homeschooling moms and dads.

Suminagashi, an ancient Japanese art form,  translates literally as “spilled ink"  The artists creates patterns by floating ink on the surface of water and transferring it to a sheet of paper. Because the nature of water is ever-changing and constantly moving,  each monoprint is like a fingerprint — unique and unreproducible..

$5/person, all materials provided.
