We will be using paint and Tyvek to sew a notebook!
It shouldn’t be too messy at all, but kids shouldn’t wear a ball gown without bringing an apron!

Paint & brushes, notebooks, and tyvek provided.

What to bring:

  • Sewing Machine -  can be shared if siblings or friends want to arrange that.  If you can't bring a sewing machine, we will have a few with me that a few kids can use
  • Basic knowledge of how to use a sewing machines - threading a needle, sewing a straight line
  • Extension cord with 3 prong adapter
  • Thread - I suggest bringing a few colors, so you have options. Each color should already have a bobbin made so we don’t have to spend time making bobbins. One of the colors could be already set up in the machine to make things move a little faster. Just choose the one you think they will most likely be using to sew together a book. We can switch it out if they want but at least one will be ready to go
  • Scissors
  • Ruler
