Quest is an educational incentive program that uses badges and awards to encourage kids of all ages to take their education to the next level by delving deeper into subjects they are already interested in and exploring new ideas and experiences. Written by homeschoolers, this program seeks to show kids that everything is fun and educational!

This mini-session we will be working on earning the Pets Badge. (This topic won the students-choice from session 1!) We will learn what makes a pet different than other animals and what animals would make good pets. They will learn the anatomy of their favorite pet and then make an arts & crafts project for a pet (toy, cage decoration, collar, etc). They will be encouraged to read a book at home on a pet they are interested in learning more about.*Note - students are not required to actually have a pet of their own, but can earn this badge on a pet they would be interested in learning more about.

Badges (pins) will be awarded on the last class of this mini-session.
