Safe home canning can be a skill for life. In our modern world, many kids don't know where their food comes from. In this class we will prepare a different canned item each week which the students can share with their loved ones for Thanksgiving dinner. December sessions will focus on sweet treats for the holiday season. Nut-free environment. 

Please let me know if your students have any food allergies. No prereqs. We will be working with knives, stoves, boiling water and a pressure canner so kitchen safety and good listening is a must.
