** Please plan to arrive between 9:30 - 9:45 a.m. so we can gather as a group and check off everyone's name.  We will enter together at 10 a.m.  Everyone in the group must come in together, latecomers will not be admitted, so don't be late!**

Southwicks Zoo is one of the biggest zoos in New England, featuring more than 800 animals.   Exotic animals like giraffes, lions, tigers, white rhins and chimpanzees live on 200 acres of naturalistic habitats.  There is also a walk through aviary,  a 35 acres deer park where deer roam  freely, and a petting zoo featuring goals, alpacas and chickens. Plus a reptile show and a bird presentation.

Enjoy the zoo at your leisure and stay as long as you like. The zoo closes at 5 p.m. 

Please note children are not permitted to carry lunchbags or backpacks into the zoo (except for medical supplies if needed).   Parents may bring a backpack.  Outside food is allowed, and there are also several dining venues available.
