Visit URI's Inner Space Center for a 45 minute behind-the-scenes tour: discover where the latest deep-sea explorations are taking place, see ancient shipwreck artifacts from previous expeditions, and listen to scientists as they make their next discoveries!
The Inner Space Center (ISC) is a one-of-a-kind national facility that supports live ocean exploration via telepresence technology. Located at the University of Rhode Island Graduate School of Oceanography, the ISC is home to a diverse team of ocean scientists, engineers, education professionals, and video producers. The team works with cutting-edge technology to facilitate, capture, produce, and promote underwater exploration in real time. Audience: All welcome, but this tour is geared towards grade 5 and up
Cost: $7 per person including adults
