Autumn Adventures: Exploring Norman Bird Sanctuary's Good Gardens
Wednesday, September 12, 19 and 26, 1 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Norman Bird Sanctuary, Middletown RI
September is the perfect time to get our hands dirty while we learn in the Good Gardens, an outdoor classroom and teaching garden filled with vegetables, herbs, and native pollinator plants. This is the ideal setting to investigate ecology concepts, go on bug safari, look at plant diversity, and harvest local food to enjoy at home.
Target Audience: ages 4-9
Cost: $15 for the 3 week series, or you may sign up for just one or two weeks.
One parent may attend free; a second parent may attend at a cost of $5.
Siblings age 3 and younger can come along at no charge. Please be prepared to find an alternate activity or move away from the group if requested.
