The Orchestra Sings with RI Philharmonic - May 22

Everyone attending will play with the orchestra from their seats! Each participating student receives a quality soprano recorder and a workbook  that explores rhythm, pulse, groove and other aspects of music theory.  You will also get sheet music you can use to practice for the  concert, which will feature selections from Dvorak’s New World Symphony,  Brackett’s Simple Gifts,  Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 ("Ode to Joy") and  Stravinsky’s Firebird Suite.

Age: Designed for grades 3-5, but may also be appropriate for older or younger audiences, depending on musical interest

Cost: $6 per person.

Parents should pay to attend since this is not a drop-off event.

A good option for parking is the mall garage.
