Fort Adams Tour

This Fort Adams tour takes our group from the top of the Fort walls to the depth of our underground tunnels, hitting upon as many highlights of the Fort as we can fit in the time between. 

• View the Quarters where officers and their families lived.
• Ascend to the scenic overlook for a breathtaking view of Newport Harbor & Narragansett Bay.
• Learn about past and future plans for restoration.
• Delve beneath the walls of the Fort into our underground tunnels.
• Experience over 180 years of American History, military culture, architecture & engineering.

This tour is mostly outdoors taking approximately one hour and involving nearly one mile of walking.   
Meet at the Visitor's Center, and dress for the outdoors.  Tour will be rescheduled in the event of heavy rain.
