Location: Masjid al Islam, North Smithfield RI

Mosque tour (led by multiple local homeschool families/former ENRICHri members!) followed by question and answer with the Imam Ikram (bio here) .  Includes a traditional lunch.

Thing you should know to make your visit run smoothly:

♦ Women and men are separated during the prayer. If dad comes alone kids they stay with dad on the men's side. If a mom comes alone, kids will stay with mom on the women's side. If the child is passed puberty they must stay with the their gender. So a girl will stay and observe women and vice versa for an older boy that wants to watch but came with dad.
♦  Strollers could be used but would be easier to be carried since inside mosque there are stairs.
♦ Women should wear pants or long skirt,  especially if they want to stay and watch the prayer.
♦ Shoes will be removed in foyer before entering mosque.
♦ Women and girls over 12/13, please bring some sort of scarf to loosely wrap over head mainly during the prayer time!
