Slater Mill Tour and RI in Ruins

Where? Slater Mill Historic Site, 67 Roosevelt Ave, Pawtucket, RI 02860
Please meet at 11:30 at the railing by the river. Before the mill/museum tour we will chat about the haunting history of this important historical site!
The mill tour will begin at 12:00 During the tour, you will see the film “Hidden in the Blackstone Valley” and do a map skill at the Visitors’ Center across the street from our site. Then you will visit the three buildings on the site – Sylvanus Brown House, Wilkinson Machine Shop, and Slater Mill. This tour will include a having the water wheel and the machinery in the shop running.
This field trip works hand-in-hand with the current RI in Ruins co-op class! But all are welcome to attend, you need not be taking that class.
Cost: Varies by age
5 and younger: free, but registration is required
Age 6-13: $9 per person
Age 14-18: $10 per person
Adults: $11 per person
Tip: to avoid paying the 2.2% fee, pay via Paypal using your credit card.
