Summer Connection Hike at Beavertail State Park
From the upper parking lot, start clockwise on the northern loop closest to the water. The route uses a combination of trails, the paved park road, and grassy sections of the lawn in order to complete the loop. The part of the route near the lighthouse DOES NOT travel on a trail, so you can choose your own path to explore the rocky cliffs and the lighthouse. To get back on the trail, watch for the Red dot trail as you head back to the woods from the lighthouse. I will have some printed out maps to handout.
In addition, the Beavertail Lighthouse Museum and the Beavertail Aquarium are both open from 10:30- 4:30
