DEM Freshwater Fishing. An annual favorite! Very limited number of spots! EVERY kid gets their own pole! DEM is happy to have us back again this year. They provide everything needed for the kids to fish. Please don't bring your own fishing gear. They will have fishing rods, bait and college students to help. You will be in the sun and in the woods so bug spray, sunblock and a drink are things to consider bringing. All ages! Price is per child who will be fishing (NO SHARING POLES) Directions to the Carolina Trout Hatchery The Hatchery does not have a specific address so type in 13b Old Richmond Townhouse Road, Richmond, RI for GPS. You will see a dirt road at this address with a dead-end sign and a cluster of mailboxes, go down this road. You will eventually come to Y split in the road, stay to the right. The big pond will be in front of you a little ways down. Please continue straight down the dirt road for about another mile to the “kid’s pond”. Once at the pond please drive past it and park in the clearing in the woods. 1 Kid 1 Pole - No sharing poles Adult ticket is needed. This is NOT a drop off event. Adults must be present. |
