TRAVEL BACK IN TIME… TO LEARN HISTORY

Join EnrichRI families for a field trip at the American Heritage Museum in Hudson, MA on ***April 18th at 11am *** 

$9 per Student / $16 per Adult chaperone

The American Heritage Museum seeks to engage, educate, entertain and enlighten its audiences in the history of our military and veterans through a chronologically arranged series of exhibits and educational interpretation through a focus on three themes:

The history of the American fight for independence and the preservation of democracy through history.

The role of the American citizen soldier in the battles fought.

And the role of technology and innovation in the defense of these servicemen and servicewomen.

For this museum visit, a lesson plan will be offered with a focus on the role of North Africa in World War II.  Please feel free to use this resource, or to select another lesson plan from the American Heritage Museum website at https://www.americanheritagemuseum.org/education/ for your use during this visit.

The museum opens at 10am, you may arrive as early as 10am, but our official group tour begins at 11am.  Please bring a lunch that may be eaten in the lobby or plan to visit a restaurant nearby.  No food or drink may be brought into the exhibit halls.  Our tour ends by 2pm, but feel free to stay longer. 
 The museum closes at 5pm.
