When: Thursday, August 25, 2016  12:00 - 1:00

Where: ENRICHri Community Center, 1395 Nooseneck Hill Road, Coventry RI

Who: all ages!

What:
Pam Gilpin has created a photo essay of the myriad insects that can inhabit, and under the right conditions, benefit our gardens.  Pam is a self-trained amateur entomologist, the result of working as an estate gardener for over 25 years.  She serves on the board of the Newport Tree Society and is a former member of the Newport Tree Commission.

Her presentation will address how insects play many and diverse roles in the environmental health of our gardens and home landscapes, how they serve as pollinators as well as provide a food source for birds, mammals and other insects.  She will show how, given the right habitat, the insects in our gardens will work for us.

Cost: $9 per family  (please list all those who will be attending when asked so we will have an accurate headcount)
