It is a different STEM class than last year. Students will get an introduction into the physics of roller skating by discussing the four parameters of motion. Students will become problem solvers and answer an open-ended question by inventing their own skate design. They will then take to the rink for 2 hours of open skate. Cost includes 1-hour class, rollerskate/inline skate rentals, and 2 hours of open skate. Laser tag, rock climbing, and concessions will be open for families to self-pay on-site. This class is geared towards elementary (K-6) aged students. Siblings and adults are welcome to attend and skate at a reduced cost! Non-skating parents and siblings are free and do NOT need to register. Anyone (including parents) who wants to skate, needs to register for the class and they will get the reduced rate of $14 for skate rental and 2 hours of skating. |
