Ages 8-13

This is a 6 week hands-on experience with scientific tools and specimens on Fridays that will take place in the fully equipped River Classroom center located on the third floor of the Blackstone Valley building right next to the beautiful Blackstone River.

Parents, you have the option to drop off your child or stay. Please ensure your child can handle a drop off situation and maintain a positive learning environment for the other participants if you choose to do so.

The first session will be focused on our weather station and learning about sea level rise.
The second session will focus on pH and water testing experiments, and the third session we will be learning about ecosystems and experimenting with our microscopes.

The students will get hands-on experience with scientific tools and specimens, as well as a better understanding of our changing climate and how we measure it.
