What:
An actor’s job is to tell a story.  In Picture-book Theater, participants work together to put popular children’s stories on their feet.  Each child will have a role in creating and performing in our unique adaptation. Participants will receive a copy of the book which is included in the registration fee and family and friends are welcome to attend the final showcase. Participants will learn about storytelling, vocal and physical awareness in relation to public speaking and performance. Theater is one of many of expressive language experiences that encourage reading and literacy. Performing assists in social/emotional development by building confidence and supporting individual expression.   Led by Valerie of Experiments in Theater.
