RI Food Bank Tour

When:  Monday, April 11^th  at 1:00, 1:20, 1:40, 2:00
ARRIVE at least 10 minutes prior to your tour time.  Tours last about 20 minutes.

Where: RI Food Bank
200 Niantic Ave, Providence, RI 02907

Who: all ages are welcome/adults must accompany children (Be sure to sign up all those in your family so we have an accurate headcount)

What:

We will be given a tour of the food bank and the volunteer production area where food is sorted.  Tour may include these areas: warehouse, freezers and refrigerators, the community kitchen, where they have culinary training for unemployed and low income adults.

During tours, the Food Bank is open for regular business, which includes agency representatives picking up food orders and warehouse equipment activity. It is important that all visitors keep from interrupting this work by remaining in the designated areas. Supervising adults are responsible for maintaining appropriate behavior of children while in our facility. All guests must wear closed-toe shoes.

Cost: Please bring non-perishable food items with you to donate the day of the tour.
Spaces are limited, please be sure to sign up only if you know you will be able to attend.  If you sign up and find you cannot attend, please contact Melissa (classcoordinator@enrichri.org) so that we can try to find someone to take your spots.
