Bruce Campbell, computer science guru, will talk to us about:
How games are being used to do serious science and how simulation is really just an off-shoot of gaming
How simulation teaches about the world
Game Character Sprites and Models
Clean Animation Methods (Frame Loops)
Peripherals for Player Inputs and Outputs
Incorporating Data into Games (Arrays and Vectors)
Incorporating Rules (where I value creativity most)
Automata as a ripe direction for gaming
Artificial Intelligence as a ripe direction for gaming
Focusing on the tools and the people who use them
